Product at Tractian
The Product organization identifies and scopes out the most impactful opportunities for Tractian to tackle. Our Product team have a deep understanding of the business and are responsible for aligning cross-functional teams across the company around key decisions. They work most closely with the Engineering, Data and Design teams to set a well thought-out product strategy and define a roadmap that ensures Tractian’s products continue to evolve for the benefit of our customers.

What you’ll do
As a Back-End Software Engineer, you will be responsible for building innovative products and infrastructure for Tractian and our customers. We believe that engineers should accelerate the business through technology, and collaborate across multiple teams to accomplish that.

Responsibilities
Create and maintain our new APIs in Node JS and Typescript

Bring to life the infrastructure that maintenance managers use daily

Create clean and test-driven code focused on tackling new challenges

Requirements
3+ years of exposure to NodeJS and Typescript

2+ years working with SQL or NoSQL databases

Experience with other backend programming languages (Go, C++, Python)

Familiarity with MongoDB

Pro in learning new technologies and concepts

Bonus Points
Clean Architecture and Clean Code

Test Driven Development (TDD)

Experience with other backend stack and microservices

Knowledge of DevOps and AWS
